Scotts Valley, CA (August 28, 2026) – A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday, August 26 afternoon near Glenwood Dr and Bean Creek Rd in Scotts Valley.
The collision was reported at approximately 12:30 p.m. Emergency units were requested, and CPR was in progress when responders arrived. By 1 p.m., emergency personnel declared the bicyclist dead.
The roadway was later cleared. No further information about the person who died or the circumstances leading to the fatal collision was immediately available. The circumstances surrounding the fatal accident remain under investigation.
