Mountainside, NJ (August 8, 2026) – A bicyclist was killed on Thursday night after being struck by a vehicle near Rte 22 and New Providence Rd. The crash happened shortly after 8 p.m.
The police said the driver was taken into custody after striking the bicyclist. The victim’s age and identity have not been released, and authorities have not identified the driver.
