Richmond, VA (July 20, 2026) – A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle early on Sunday, July 19, in the 5100 block of Williamsburg Avenue. The collision was reported at approximately 1:04 a.m.
Emergency units arrived and found the cyclist with serious injuries. The person was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The circumstances leading to the accident had not been released as of Monday. The cause remains under review as investigators continue gathering information.
