Bowling Green, KY (January 12, 2026) – A pedestrian sustained multiple injuries on January 9 after being struck by a vehicle that reportedly rolled backward at a residence on the 2500 block of Mt Victor Ln. Emergency crews from Bowling Green Fire Department, EMS, and police responded to the scene to assist the injured individual.
According to initial reports, the vehicle was not in motion under driver control when it rolled and struck the pedestrian. The victim, whose identity has not been released, complained of pain in the leg, foot, and chest following the impact. Medics provided treatment at the scene and evaluated whether hospital transport was necessary.
The incident occurred in a residential area, and authorities worked to assess the circumstances surrounding how the vehicle came to roll. No further injuries were reported, and no other individuals were believed to be involved.
The Bowling Green Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident. At this time, no citations or charges have been announced.
