BOYNTON BEACH, Palm Beach County, Fla., Sept. 14, 2026 — Two men died on Sunday morning, September 13, after their vehicles collided at high speed at the intersection of Jog Road and Woolbright Road near Boynton Beach. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, a pickup truck was heading north on Jog Road, and a sedan was heading west on Woolbright Road when the two vehicles met in the intersection at about 6:45 a.m. Authorities said the pickup had reportedly been traveling at a high rate of speed before the crash.
The sheriff's office identified the drivers as George Edward Armas, 43, and Mark Alan Resnick, 78. No other occupants have been reported.
The intersection was closed for a time while deputies investigated, authorities said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no charges have been announced.
