Branford, CT (January 8, 2026) – A serious head-on collision resulted in two injuries on Thursday near 269 East Main St in Branford. The crash involved two vehicles and required emergency extrication for one of the victims, while another sustained significant bleeding and facial injuries.
Branford Fire Department crews arrived on scene to find both vehicles with heavy front-end damage and occupants trapped inside. One patient was found bleeding heavily from facial lacerations and received immediate treatment on-site. The second victim was extricated from their vehicle using specialized rescue equipment before being transported for further medical care.
