NEW YORK CITY, Kings County, N.Y., Sept. 29, 2026 — Three people were hurt Monday morning, September 28, when a car overturned on Rockaway Avenue in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn. All three were reported to have minor injuries.
The FDNY said it received a call at 8:29 a.m. reporting a motor vehicle crash with a vehicle overturned near 436 Rockaway Ave., between Pitkin and Belmont avenues. Fire department emergency medical crews responded and took the injured to area hospitals.
Video shared by a bystander showed emergency crews working at the scene shortly after the crash. It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved or what led to the rollover.
No further details have been released. The cause of the crash remains under review.
