Christian County, KY (June 29, 2026) – A man was injured after a pickup truck collided with a horse and buggy on Saturday morning, June 27, in the 7000 block of Lafayette Rd in Christian County. The crash occurred around 10:23 a.m.
According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, a southbound truck driven by Joseph King struck the horse and buggy traveling ahead. The buggy operator, identified as John Zook, was injured and taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for treatment. Authorities said the horse was not injured in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation as deputies continue reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
