Frequently Asked Questions
Where do most traffic accidents happen?
Many crashes cluster near highway interchanges, off-ramps, and merge points, where speed changes and lane shifts increase the chance of a sudden collision.
What injuries are most common in car accidents?
Whiplash, bruising, and soft-tissue injuries are typical in lower-speed collisions, while harder impacts can cause fractures or head injuries. Some injuries don't show symptoms right away, so a medical check is worth doing even after a minor-feeling crash.
What to Do After a Car Accident in Campbell, CA
If you're involved in a crash on a freeway stretch like this one, try to get your vehicle to the shoulder instead of staying in a traffic lane. Turn on hazard lights and stay buckled in or well clear of moving traffic until help arrives. Even if you feel fine at the scene, consider a follow-up visit with a doctor in the days after, since adrenaline can mask pain from a collision. Keep a copy of the CHP incident report for your records, and follow up with your insurer once you have it.
