CANTON, Stark County, Ohio, Sept. 21, 2026 — Two people died and two others were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash Sunday evening, September 20, on the 2100 block of Navarre Road SW in Canton, authorities said.
The Canton Fire Department said crews responded around 8:24 p.m. to the collision and found two SUVs with heavy damage. One of the SUVs had rolled onto its roof, according to the department’s release.
The driver of that SUV was reportedly ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. In the second SUV, the driver, a 36-year-old woman, was also pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in that vehicle, a 12-year-old girl and a 26-year-old man, were taken to Aultman Hospital in serious condition, authorities said.
