Cass County, MO (May 18, 2026) – One person was seriously injured and another sustained minor injuries following a collision on Friday afternoon at the intersection of South McClain Road and East 315th Street, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Troopers reported that the crash occurred around 4:10 p.m. A 2023 Ford Bronco, driven by a 47-year-old woman from Harrisonville, was traveling north when it struck the side of a 2022 Polaris Ranger UTV driven by a 55-year-old woman from Archie, who failed to yield at the intersection. The impact caused extensive damage to the Bronco and totaled the UTV. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene to assist both drivers.
The driver of the UTV was airlifted by LifeFlight Eagle Air Ambulance to the University Medical Center in Kansas City with serious injuries. The Bronco driver was transported by private conveyance to Cass Regional Hospital in Harrisonville for minor injuries. Troopers, including CPL Z.D. Davidson and the Cass County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
