Cave Creek, AZ (May 18, 2026) – Six people were hospitalized following a fiery two-vehicle crash late at night near Cave Creek, authorities reported.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly before 11:00 p.m. after reports of a collision involving two passenger vehicles that burst into flames upon impact. Fire crews arrived and worked quickly to extinguish the fire and assist victims trapped or injured in the wreckage.
Officials confirmed that six individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Four of the victims are reported to be in serious condition with extensive burn injuries, according to firefighters. The remaining two individuals also sustained injuries and were taken for medical evaluation.
Authorities have not yet released details on what led to the crash or the identities of those involved. Investigators remained on scene for several hours, collecting evidence and documenting the circumstances surrounding the collision. Still, the investigation remains ongoing.
