Chesapeake, VA (January 21, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle accident with reported injuries on Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of S Battlefield Blvd and Johnstown Rd in Chesapeake.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:04 p.m. in the area of the Great Bridge Courthouse Café district. Medic 6 and additional units arrived on scene to assist those involved. At least one person sustained injuries and received medical attention; however, the extent of those injuries has not been confirmed.
Traffic in the area was affected temporarily while emergency crews managed the scene and began an investigation. The roadway has since been cleared.
Authorities are still reviewing the cause of the accident.
