How City Street Crashes Can Lead to Serious Damage
Crashes on busy city streets can become severe when vehicles leave the roadway after impact. Trees, buildings, poles, and parked cars can add force to a collision and increase the risk of injury.
Early morning crashes may also involve reduced visibility and fewer witnesses nearby. Drivers may have less time to react when traffic patterns change suddenly or when one vehicle attempts to move around another.
Two-car crashes can also affect people beyond the drivers. Passengers may suffer cuts, head trauma, or body injuries depending on where they are seated and how the vehicle is hit. Vehicle damage and final stopping points can help show how the impact unfolded.
