Levittown, PA (June 9, 2026) – Police reported to the scene where a 5-year-old boy was left in critical condition after being struck by a car while riding an electric bike near Truman High School in Levittown on Sunday evening, June 7.
Officers with the Bristol Township Police Department responded to the scene around 6:40 p.m. after reports of a child being hit along Green Lane. Investigators said the boy was attempting to cross the roadway after exiting the school parking lot when the crash occurred.
Authorities said the child was riding an e-bike at the time of the incident. He was said to have suffered a potential skull fracture and was transported to St. Mary Medical Center before he was later airlifted to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia due to the severity of his injuries.
Officials confirmed that the driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. No additional injuries were reported as the investigation is ongoing. Our thoughts are with the child and his family.
