Bridgeport, CT (September 8, 2026) – A child was injured Monday, September 7, in a hit-and-run crash on Trumbull Avenue in Bridgeport.
The crash was reported around 6:26 p.m. in the 500 block of Trumbull Avenue, according to Bridgeport city spokesperson Shawnna White. The child sustained minor injuries but was not transported to a local hospital for treatment.
White said the vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene. The Bridgeport Police Department is investigating the incident.
