Chula Vista, CA (January 22, 2026) – A 23-year-old man was injured in a motorcycle crash on H St in Chula Vista on the morning of January 20. The collision occurred when the motorcycle reportedly struck a car while lane splitting, leading to minor damage to the rider’s helmet and bike.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist conscious and alert but suffering from pain in his right arm. He was transported to Scripps Chula Vista Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. No injuries were reported from the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash.
The crash took place during the morning commute, and traffic may have been temporarily affected as medics and officers worked the scene. Responders noted that, despite the impact, the injuries were non-life-threatening.
