CHANCELLOR, Geneva County, Ala., Sept. 17, 2026 — A three-vehicle crash reportedly left one person unresponsive and another trapped in a vehicle Wednesday afternoon, September 16, on Danford Road in Geneva County, according to authorities.
Geneva County 911 dispatched crews to the scene around 5:30 p.m., authorities said. At the time of dispatch, at least one patient was reported unresponsive and one patient was reported entrapped.
The Geneva County Sheriff's Office, Geneva Rescue and Coffee Springs Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene. State troopers were dispatched to investigate the crash too.
Emergency crews requested mutual aid, including an additional ground ambulance from Hartford Rescue and a medical helicopter from Enterprise Rescue. Responders set up a landing zone so the helicopter could land and transport one patient from the scene.
