What to Do After a Hit-and-Run Crash in Colerain Township, Ohio
If you're involved in a hit-and-run, try to get to a safe spot and call 911 right away, even if injuries seem minor at first. Write down anything you remember about the other vehicle, like its color, direction of travel, or partial plate number, while it's still fresh. Seek medical evaluation promptly, since injuries like whiplash or internal bruising don't always show symptoms immediately. File a police report and keep a copy for your records, and follow up with the department investigating the case if you recall new details. Reaching out to your own insurance company early can also help make sure coverage for hit-and-run situations is in place.
