Columbus, OH (January 21, 2026) – A vehicle collision with injuries was reported on Tuesday on the northbound side of I-71 near the Frank Rd exit in Columbus, prompting an emergency response during the morning commute.
The crash occurred in the northbound lanes and involved at least two vehicles, according to early reports. Emergency medical teams responded promptly to the scene to assist those injured. At least one individual required transport to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The extent of their injuries has not yet been released.
Traffic along I-71 North experienced temporary delays as responders worked to secure the area and remove damaged vehicles. The scene was eventually cleared, allowing lanes to reopen.
