What Can Lead to Crashes Near Busy Driveway Entrances?
Crashes near business entrances often happen due to turning movements and changes in traffic flow. Drivers entering or exiting parking lots may slow down suddenly or misjudge gaps in traffic, which can lead to collisions.
Heavy traffic along main roads can also increase the risk. Vehicles traveling at higher speeds may not have enough time to react when another car turns across their path. This is especially common during evening hours when roads are busier.
Limited visibility, distractions, or failure to signal can further raise the chances of a crash. These conditions make driveway entrances a frequent location for accidents involving multiple vehicles.
