Crawford Co, MO (January 15, 2026) – A man was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hwy ZZ and Hwy F in Crawford County.
The incident took place around 2:20 p.m. when a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a 77-year-old man from Cuba, was attempting to make a left turn onto Hwy F. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Jeep entered the path of a westbound 2017 Kia Sorento, resulting in a forceful impact.
The crash left both vehicles heavily damaged, with the Jeep sustaining total damage and the Kia suffering extensive damage. Both were towed from the scene by Chris and Sons Towing.
Trooper M.T. Baird (196) of Troop I led the investigation. The driver of the Jeep sustained injuries and was transported to Missouri Baptist Hospital for treatment. The 26-year-old female driver of the Kia, a resident of St. James, was reportedly uninjured. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
