Ventura, CA (July 30, 2026) – A bicyclist was hurt following a traffic collision involving a vehicle at the intersection of Shell Rd and N Ventura Ave in Ventura on July 28.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the call came in at about 6:32 p.m. and initially indicated a vehicle had struck a cyclist. Emergency units were requested at the intersection, and dispatch logs later showed a request for additional information regarding the extent of the person’s injuries.
As crews worked at the roadway, a tow truck was requested for a motorcycle, though the available report did not explain how it was connected to the collision. The cause of the collision remains under review as investigators continue gathering information.
