Manchester, NH (August 1, 2026) – A bicyclist was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run on Union St in Manchester on Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the area.
The collision happened at about 9:15 a.m. on July 31, near the intersection of Union and Cedar streets. According to police, witnesses said two people were involved in an argument when one of them got into a vehicle to leave. As the vehicle departed, it struck a bicyclist who was not involved in the altercation.
The cyclist suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect driver left before officers arrived, and Union St was temporarily closed between Cedar and Spruce streets while the roadway was processed.
