DAYTON, Lyon County, Nev., Sept. 22, 2026 — A motorcyclist died Tuesday morning, September 22, in a crash with a pickup truck on US Highway 50 westbound at Douglas Street in Dayton, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Troopers closed the westbound lanes of US-50 for several hours after the crash. The road reopened to traffic around 10:30 a.m. Drivers were asked to avoid the area while crews worked the scene.
