Bartholomew County, IN (August 22, 2026) – A Seymour man was killed, and three teenagers were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday morning, August 20, on State Road 11 near County Road 800 South in southern Bartholomew County.
Indiana State Police said the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. when a 17-year-old girl driving on State Road 11 crossed the centerline. Her car entered oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle head-on. Both vehicles left the roadway after the collision. The teenage driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The other vehicle’s driver, 18-year-old Aparicio, and his 15-year-old passenger also went to a hospital for treatment. The front-seat passenger, 42-year-old Pascual Baltazar-Pascual, died. The investigation remains ongoing, with toxicology results pending.
