Chicago, IL (July 13, 2026) – One person was killed in a crash involving a pickup truck and a semi-tractor-trailer on the outbound Dan Ryan Expressway early on Friday morning in Chicago. The collision occurred around 12:09 a.m. on July 10, near 26th St, just beyond the ramp to the Stevenson Expressway.
Responders were dispatched to the crash site, where one person was pronounced deceased. The victim’s identity has not been made public, and no further information about possible injuries has been released. The outbound local lanes were shut down for more than five hours during the investigation and reopened later in the morning.
