Bridgewater, NJ (August 25, 2026) – According to reports by authorities, a 29-year-old Somerset man died after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in Bridgewater. The crash happened around 4:12 p.m. near Finderne Avenue and Main Street on Monday, August 24.
Officers arrived to find a disabled Ford F-150 and a heavily damaged 2014 Suzuki GSX motorcycle in the intersection. The motorcycle rider had been ejected and was found unresponsive in the roadway. Officers performed CPR and continued life-saving efforts until paramedics arrived. The 29-year-old was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Somerville, where he was pronounced deceased.
Investigators determined the motorcycle was traveling south on Finderne Avenue in the right lane. Police said the northbound Ford F-150 turned left toward East Main Street and entered the motorcycle’s path, causing the bike to strike the truck’s passenger side.
