Safe Driving Practices at Intersections
Drivers approaching intersections should slow down and follow posted stop signs and traffic controls. Coming to a complete stop allows motorists to check for vehicles traveling on the intersecting roadway.
Large commercial trucks also require significant space and time to stop. Drivers should remain alert around intersections and make sure the roadway is clear before entering.
