Garfield County, OK (July 25, 2026) – A 32-year-old Pawnee man was killed after their vehicle collided with a commercial vehicle on US 412 near 78th Street in Garfield County on Thursday night, July 23.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Dustin J. Laffoon was driving when his vehicle crashed into a commercial vehicle that was stopped at a railroad crossing. The impact resulted in fatal injuries for Laffoon. The driver and passenger of the commercial vehicle were not injured in the crash.
No additional details about the circumstances leading up to the collision were released. Deputies continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
