Warner Robins, GA (August 31, 2026) – A driver struck a parked car and a pedestrian while performing stunts in a Food Depot parking lot, then led troopers on a chase that ended in a head-on crash with two cars at Watson Boulevard and Corder Road Saturday night, August 29 according to Georgia State Patrol. A trooper had been responding to reports of reckless driving around 8:19 p.m. when the driver, in a black Dodge Charger, nearly struck a Warner Robins police officer while leaving the lot and headed east on Watson Boulevard.
The driver ran a red light at Corder Road, lost control, and struck two vehicles head-on. The driver was arrested and taken to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon for treatment.
The driver faces charges of felony fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, speeding, improper passing, and failure to obey a traffic control device. The Warner Robins Police Department will handle charges related to the parking lot incident. We hope those injured have a full recovery.
