Grand Rapids, MI (July 21, 2026) – A three-vehicle crash involving two cars and a box truck left one driver critically injured on Monday morning, July 20, on East M-6 near Kalamazoo Avenue in Kent County.
A 21-year-old Kentwood man driving a Toyota Camry westbound on M-6 lost control and struck another westbound vehicle, a Honda Accord driven by a 22-year-old Lowell man. The Toyota then crossed the median and collided with an eastbound box truck driven by a 35-year-old Grand Rapids man. The Toyota driver suffered critical injuries and was taken to a hospital.
No other injuries were reported. Officials said alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
