Ferndale, MI (June 20, 2026) – A 33-year-old e-bike rider was killed following a crash involving a road commission truck on Thursday, around 12:52 p.m. in Ferndale.
The crash occurred on June 18 in the area of 22230 Woodward Avenue near College Street, according to the Ferndale Police Department. Emergency units responded after receiving reports of a collision between a truck and an e-bike.
The e-bike rider, a 33-year-old Ferndale resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that an Oakland County Road Commission truck was involved in the crash.
