What Is Typically Reviewed After an E-Bike and Vehicle Crash?
Investigators examining crashes involving e-bikes and motor vehicles typically review the direction of travel, roadway layout, and any traffic control devices in the area. They also assess visibility, vehicle speed, and the location of the impact to better understand how the collision occurred.
Physical evidence, such as damage to the e-bike and vehicle, skid marks, and debris, can help reconstruct the sequence of events. Witness statements and available surveillance footage may also provide additional context. As more information is gathered, investigators can develop a clearer picture of the factors that contributed to the crash.
