Howell Township, NJ (June 25, 2026) – Eight people were taken to a hospital on Wednesday morning, June 24, after a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 195 West in Howell Township. The crash happened around 8:41 a.m. near milepost 31.4.
State police said the collision involved a Mazda SUV and a Honda minivan. The Honda driver and seven passengers were hurt in the crash.
All eight people in the Honda were stabilized at the site before being taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. Their injuries were described as minor.
No other injuries were reported among the people in the Mazda SUV. The crash caused temporary traffic disruptions on the westbound side while emergency units assisted those involved and cleared the roadway.
