Frequently Asked Questions
What injuries are commonly reported in car accidents like this one?
Collisions involving sudden impact frequently cause hand, wrist, and arm injuries from bracing on the wheel, along with neck and back strain. Severity varies widely depending on speed and point of impact.
What usually causes crashes on freeway off-ramps?
Off-ramp collisions are frequently linked to sudden speed changes, merging conflicts, or a driver failing to notice slowing traffic ahead in time to stop.
How does speed affect the severity of a crash?
Higher speeds increase both the force of impact and the distance needed to stop, which raises the likelihood of serious injury even in otherwise similar collisions.
