El Paso, TX (January 22, 2026) – A crash along Interstate 10 at the Mesa St exit ramp led to five individuals being hospitalized Wednesday afternoon, according to the El Paso Fire Department.
The collision occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. near Exit 11 in West El Paso. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported five people to a local hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries. Medical personnel treated the injured at the site before arranging Code 1 transports.
Due to the incident, both eastbound and westbound left lanes of I-10 were shut down, resulting in minor traffic delays throughout the evening. The Texas Department of Transportation reported an estimated clearing time of approximately one hour.
