How Do Residential Pull-Out Crashes Occur?
Collisions often happen when a vehicle exits a driveway or residential lane and enters a main road. Drivers on the primary roadway may have limited time to react, especially during busy morning hours.
Sightlines can be blocked by parked cars, trees, or nearby buildings. This may make it harder for drivers pulling out to see approaching traffic clearly.
Even at lower speeds, side-impact crashes can lead to injuries. The angle of impact and the size of the vehicles involved often affect the level of damage and harm.
