Eustis, FL (January 25, 2026) – One or more individuals sustained injuries in a vehicle collision that occurred Saturday afternoon at the intersection of CR-44A and Plymouth Sorrento Rd in Lake County.
The crash took place shortly before 12:30 p.m., prompting a rapid response from Lake County Fire Rescue units. On arrival, emergency medical teams assessed the scene and provided treatment to several individuals hurt in the crash. Injuries were described as varying in severity, with at least one person requiring transportation to a nearby medical facility for further care.
Preliminary information indicates that two vehicles collided at or near the intersection under circumstances still being reviewed by authorities. The crash caused traffic disruptions in the area, with crews working for over 30 minutes to stabilize the scene and clear the roadway.
