Rapid City, SD (June 6, 2026) – A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle while exiting a parked car in Rapid City. The collision happened around 6:15 p.m. along the south lane of 525 Joseph Street on Thursday, June 4.
Rapid City Police said officers were dispatched to the scene after reports of a pedestrian being hit. The person was taken to a hospital for emergency treatment of critical injuries. No identity has been released at this time.
