Bloomingdale, NJ (July 27, 2026) – A 41-year-old man was seriously injured on Saturday evening, July 25, while riding an electric scooter. The collision occurred around 7:50 p.m. near Hamburg Turnpike and Vreeland Avenue.
Emergency units initially received a report that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.
The man suffered major injuries and was airlifted to the trauma center at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson. He remained hospitalized on Sunday, July 26, according to the report. His identity was not released, but the cause of the crash remains under review.
