Farmington, WV (August 28, 2026) – Two women were killed on Wednesday evening, August 26, in a head-on crash on Helens Run Road in Farmington. The collision happened at approximately 5:45 p.m.
According to witness reports provided to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, a southbound vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a northbound vehicle.
A 26-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The 39-year-old driver of the other vehicle died while being transported by medical helicopter.
A young female passenger in the southbound vehicle was reported to be in stable condition. The crash remains under investigation.
