Riverside, CA (August 25, 2026) – A fatal accident involving three vehicles was reported on August 23 on the southbound I-215 near Cactus Ave in Riverside during the early morning hours. The California Highway Patrol record lists the location as I-215 S at Cactus Ave, with two lanes blocked beginning around 3:36 a.m.
The initial information indicated that a vehicle had overturned onto its side, while another vehicle and a person were reported near the northbound side of the freeway. By 3:46 a.m., the report noted three vehicles were involved and requested additional assistance.
