Why E-Bike and Vehicle Crashes Can Be Especially Serious
Crashes involving e-bikes and passenger vehicles can lead to serious injuries because riders have limited physical protection compared to those inside cars. Even lower-speed impacts can result in significant harm.
Passing situations can also increase risk when vehicles and bicycles share narrow roadway space. Timing, visibility, and rider movement all play a role in how these crashes occur. Investigators typically review vehicle positions, witness accounts, and roadway conditions to understand how a collision happened. These details help clarify the sequence of events leading up to the crash.
