Pocatello, ID (June 13, 2026) – Medical units responded to five elementary-aged children who were injured following a two-vehicle crash that caused a vehicle to veer onto a sidewalk in Pocatello on Thursday, June 11.
Emergency units responded to the intersection of Barton Road and South 4th Avenue after reports of a collision involving two vehicles. The Pocatello Police Department said the impact caused one driver to lose control and drive onto the sidewalk where children were waiting to cross the street.
The five children were struck and later transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officials said all of the children were in stable condition and did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
