Why Nighttime City Crashes Can Send Several People to the Hospital
Nighttime crashes in city neighborhoods can injure several people when vehicles are carrying multiple occupants or when more than one vehicle is involved. Lower visibility, parked cars, intersections, and nearby traffic can all affect how a collision happens.
Even injuries first described as minor may need medical evaluation. Doctors may check for neck, back, shoulder, head, chest, or limb pain after a roadway crash. Some symptoms may appear later, after the initial shock fades. Investigators may review vehicle positions, road markings, lighting, speed, and witness statements to understand what led to the accident.
