What Investigators Review After a Multi-Vehicle Intersection Crash
Multi-vehicle crashes at intersections are reviewed by examining traffic signals, vehicle movements, and roadway conditions. Investigators typically look at how each vehicle entered the intersection and whether any actions contributed to the sequence of impacts.
Vehicle damage, final resting positions, and witness statements can help show the order of events. Investigators may also review available camera footage or other evidence to better understand what happened before the crash. These details help create a clearer timeline of how a collision involving multiple vehicles developed.
