Wheaton, MD (September 1, 2026) – Four people were injured on Sunday morning after four vehicles collided near Georgia Ave and Reedie Dr in Wheaton.
The accident happened near the Wheaton Metro station and Westfield Wheaton mall. Four adults were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment and were expected to be well.
Southbound Georgia Ave at Reedie Dr was temporarily closed following the wreck, causing traffic delays in the area. Drivers were advised to use alternate routes while the roadway was closed.
