Columbus, OH (July 17, 2026) – Four people, including a child, were injured in a two-car collision on westbound Interstate 670 in northeast Columbus on Wednesday morning, July 15.
The crash occurred shortly before 9 a.m. near mile marker 6, between Joyce Avenue and Leonard Avenue. Emergency crews transported the child to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
Three adults were taken to Grant Medical Center. One was listed in critical condition, while the other two were reported to be in stable condition.
All westbound lanes were closed before Leonard Avenue while responders treated the injured, investigated the scene, and cleared the roadway. The interstate later reopened. Authorities continue investigating the cause of the collision.
