Frederick, MD (January 18, 2026) – A serious vehicle rollover near Carroll Parkway in Frederick prompted a multi-agency emergency response on January 16. The crash, which occurred just after noon, left two females unconscious at the scene and triggered an urgent request for air medical evacuation.
According to dispatch communications, fire and EMS crews arrived to find the overturned vehicle with both patients inside. Due to the severity of their injuries, an airlift was coordinated to expedite hospital transport. Fire officials established incident command and assisted in stabilizing the victims prior to transfer.
Authorities have not yet released further information about what caused the crash or the current condition of those injured. Traffic was likely affected as crews worked to clear the scene and secure the landing zone for the helicopter.
